Initial Menopause online Consultation (for all new clients)- up to 40 minutes - £89
Our consultation rate is £89 and is a single, one-off payment which applies to all our new clients.
If you would like to try HRT, we can issue you with a private HRT prescription which will ensure the treatment is delivered straight to your door within a few days. Private prescriptions are in addition to the consultation fee and paid separately by yourself but these don't tend to cost much more than a usual prescription if standard HRT is issued. The cost is set by the pharmacy we use, not ourselves. You wont be able to use an HRT pre-payment or exemption certificate at this point as they don't apply to private prescriptions. However, if we issue 3 months supply of HRT, you can then request further supplies from your own GP which can then be issued at the NHS prescription tariff prices and your pre-payment/exemption certificate can then be used.
( Please note - testosterone is not included in the HRT pre exemption certificate unfortunately )
We encourage all of our clients to get their ongoing HRT from their GP to help save money, but some people do prefer to receive it privately from us and to receive their ongoing follow up care from ourselves directly.

Follow Up Menopause Consultation for all existing clients -£49
This is by telephone and is usually a 20 minute appointment.

Testosterone Consultations - £70 - 30 minutes.
This consultation is suitable for our existing clients and any new clients who are already established on HRT.
If you are already using HRT, we can offer you this consultation to specifically discuss and prescribe Testosterone if you are eligible to have it. You must already be established on HRT before adding in Testosterone.*
*It is also essential that you have your Total Testosterone blood level checked before starting this treatment. Your GP may be able to do this for you, but you can also have this done privately through services like Medichecks.
Please note - only serum blood samples can be accepted, no finger prick samples.

For Repeat Prescription requests outwith follow up consultations - £25
Please contact us at support@yourmenopausenurse.co.uk with your prescription request. We will invoice you first of all and then complete your repeat prescription request. You should then receive your medication within a few days straight to your door.

What You'll Receive
During your consultations, we will use evidence based guidance to talk through your treatment options and your symptoms and we'll support you to help make informed decisions. You will also receive a same day report by email after your initial consultation, which highlights what has been discussed as well as any prescribing outcomes. Additional support following a consultation can include Your Menopause Nurse articles and links to other supporting resources which will be tailored to your own specific needs and requests. We will also send you a feedback form after your consultation as your opinion on our service and care matters.
We are also available for follow-up consultations, usually around three months after your initial consultation if a prescription has been offered. If you require further help before the three months, you can still make a booking to meet with us.
